We are currently seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to permanently join our Weipa Operations.

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to permanently join our Weipa Operations.

The successful applicant will be reporting to the QLD Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise approx. 50 mechanical staff
• Liaise with clients and internal management
• Tender and quote works
• Sign off employee timesheets
• Organise jobs and task to relevant people
• Organise and run shutdown crews

Attributes:

• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Able to work in team environment
• Organisation and time management skills
• Able to prioritise multiple tasks and self manage

To be considered, you must have the following:

• Trade qualification / mechanical background
• Two years minimum supervision experience
• Drivers licence and Construction Blue/White card
• Construction and mining experience

This is a residential position. Accommodation and mobilisation flights are included.
