Goodline is an experienced construction and maintenance company specialising in serving remote areas of Australia, with offices in Weipa (QLD), Darwin (NT) and Port Hedland (WA).

We specialise in steel fabrication, steel erection, demolition, scaffolding, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and civil works. Our client services range from project conception to project management to ongoing maintenance. Goodline is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our head office in Kawana Waters on a full time basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, and working alongside the broader finance and shared service teams, you will be accountable for the quality control, and timeliness in the processing, approval and payment of supplier invoices.

In leading all aspects of the Accounts Payable team, comprising 7-10 staff members, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and controlling the team and the workloads
  • Prioritise and coordinate weekly and monthly creditor payments
  • Monitor and report on the aged creditor balances
  • Monitor and report on individual and team performance
  • Staff training and performance appraisals and conflict management
  • Resolve queries and issues with site and suppliers
  • Continuous improvement of systems and business processes
Essential:
  • 5 years plus proven experience in an Accounts Payable Role
  • Advanced computer skills and accuracy in high volume data entry
  • High level attention to detail
  • Good communication and leadership skills
