Goodline is an experienced construction and maintenance company specialising in serving remote areas of Australia, with offices in Weipa (QLD), Darwin (NT) and Port Hedland (WA).

We specialise in steel fabrication, steel erection, demolition, scaffolding, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and civil works. Our client services range from project conception to project management to ongoing maintenance. We pride ourselves on offering tailored and innovative solutions to the mining, construction, maintenance and building industries.


Goodline is currently seeking a suitably qualified Safety Operations Manager based in our Kawana Waters Office on the Sunshine Coast Queensland. Possession of the following experience highly regraded.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines in a multidiscipline environment
  • Demonstrated management, leadership skills and the ability to influence change
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee management of workers compensation and rehabilitation programs nationally
  • Experienced in participating in incident investigations and track action items to completion, with demonstrated knowledge of incident cause analysis techniques
  • Exceptional knowledge in and interpretation of HSE legislation nationally including standards, and codes of practice
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to enable effective communications with all stakeholders
  • Strong report writing skills and data interpretation
  • Ability to monitor compliance and attend recertification audits for AS/ISO 9001, AS/ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 incorporating AS 4801
  • Extensive knowledge in Risk Management
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining HSE documentation in line with a HSE system
  • Experience in tendering and pre-qualification submissions
  • Proven ability in change management concentrating on cultural change
  • Experience in using Human Resource/Training/HSE Databases
Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in OHS or similar discipline is preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5yrs demonstrated experience in mining, construction, mechanical/engineering or civil industries
  • Minimum 4 years in senior leadership roles
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite
  • Apply First Aid Certificate
  • Trained in Investigation Techniques such as ICAM or TAPROOT desired
  • Construction White Card
  • Willing to travel as required and flexible
