PIC has completed work on iconic projects such as Brookfield Place, Perth Museum, City square in Perth CBD and has successfully completed projects for BHP, Rio Tinto and Woodside to name a few.Our main Naval Base facility consists of three major workshops with a floor area totalling over 40,000 square metres, including over 40 overhead travelling cranes up to 120 tonne capacity. 

PIC is currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team in our Naval Base Head Office. The Contracts Administrator is accountable for the delivery of the commercial, financial and contractual management aspects of projects. In the delivery of the role the Contracts Administrator must ensure that the Project Manager is promptly apprised of all matters in relation to the management of the project head contract agreements and all relevant supplier/ subcontract agreements.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Procurement of packages.
  • Preparation and submission of progress claims and ensuring their timely payment.
  • Subcontract management including receipt and processing of subcontract interim payment claims & final accounts.
  • Process claims for variations and additional entitlement to time & money.
  • Prepare, submit & agree contractual claims for time & money.
  • Manage and participate where necessary in the preparation, submission & agreement of variations.
  • Advise the project management team on contractual issues & initiate correspondence.
  • Prepare, review & submit reports to prescribed timescales (including equipment and cost reports).
  • Review change management.
The key requirements for this role include:
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications (Contracts/ Commerce / Legal etc)
  • Sound understanding of the principles and practice of Contracts Management
  • Demonstrated commercial contracts management and administration experience in similar role.
  • Experience with procurement of subcontract packages.
  • Excellent attention to detail
