Pacific Industrial Company has a proud 52 year history as a leading provider of steel fabrication, construction and modularisation services to clients throughout Western Australia and Australia in the construction, mining and oil and gas sectors.
PIC has completed work on iconic projects such as Brookfield Place, Perth Museum, City square in Perth CBD and has successfully completed projects for BHP, Rio Tinto and Woodside to name a few. Our main Naval Base facility consists of three major workshops with a floor area totalling over 40,000 square metres, including over 40 overhead travelling cranes up to 120 tonne capacity. 
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking Boilermaker Apprentices to join our workshop team based at the Naval Base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interested in completing a fabrication trade
  • Ability to work in a heavy fabrication workshop
  • Carry out tasks as detailed by the supervising tradesperson or supervisor
  • Attend required trade school training and to complete all assignments
  • Work to safety standards required for the job
Key Requirements:

  • Naval Base Location
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • Reliable Transport 
  • Completed Year 12 - including mathematics
  • Cert II Engineering or completed Pre-Apprenticeships will be highly regarded
  • Able to work up to 55 hours per week including half day Saturday
