Recruitment Consultant
Pacific Industrial Company (PIC) is a highly regarded private company and a recognised leader in the Australian steel fabrication and construction industry. We provide steel design, fabrication and construction services to the construction, mining, oil and gas sectors Australia wide.
PIC is presently working on a number of large scale mineral processing, commercial building fabrication, and construction projects located within the Perth Metropolitan region. As we continue to grow, the best people are critical to our success, and we are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to assist our team in continuing to deliver high quality outcomes for our clients.
This role requires a professional person who thrives in a fast paced environment. We seek a highly motivated, people and results oriented professional with strong candidate sourcing skills.
Based at our Naval Base offices, and reporting to the HManager, your main responsibilities will include: 
  • Recruitment of all levels of blue and white collar personnel to meet tight manning requirements (including screening, reference checking, and interviewing).
  • Working with site and workshop teams to select and commence high quality candidates
  • Obtaining copies of all relevant licences and qualifications
  • Administering the recruitment system and processes, including external mobilisation requirements and internal process requirements.
  • Ensuring mobilisations are carried out in accordance with the client requirements
  • Developing strong business working relationships
  • Conducting inductions and on-boarding processes 
Ideally, the successful candidate will possess: 
  • Previous recruitment experience recruiting for roles in the fabrication and/or construction industries
  • Prior experience recruiting for fabrication workshop environments 
  • Strong relationship building and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • High attention to detail
  • A fast paced approach with the ability to meet strict deadlines
