Pacific Industrial Company (PIC) is a highly regarded private company and a recognised leader in the Australian steel fabrication and construction industry. We provide steel design, fabrication and construction services to the construction, mining, oil and gas sectors Australia wide.
PIC are currently seeking a Storeperson to join our workshop team based at the Naval Base.We are ideally seeking someone with a strong fabrication or electricial background, ideally in a Trade Assistant capacity that is looking to move into a Stores role.

PIC are currently seeking a Storeperson to join our workshop team based at the Naval Base.We are ideally seeking someone with a strong fabrication or electricial background, ideally in a Trade Assistant capacity that is looking to move into a Stores role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Opening/closing the store
- Basic repairs e.g. replacing drill bits and blades on grinders
- Raising purchase orders
- Maintaining/ Ordering stock for the stores
- Accepting deliveries
- Assisting with materials for various other projects (both workshop & site)
- Forklift operation
- Assisting with testing & tagging
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a metal fabrication workshop
- Strong knowledge of welding consumables
- Forklift Licence (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to multitask and work autonomously
- Knowledge of basic hand tools including 5 & 9” grinders
- Valid Drivers Licence
- High level of housekeeping
- Flexible attitude and versatile in the workshop
- Bilingual - fluent in English & Italian (preferred but not essential)
- 55 hour week, Monday - Saturday
- Temp to Perm opportunity
