Position
Civmec Construction & Engineering Pty Ltd (Civmec) is currently seeking applications from experienced NDT professionalsto join their passionate and successfully driven Quality Team as an NDT Coordinator. Based in our Henderson workshop facility, the successful applicant will form an integral part of our Quality Team and will gain experience working on large-scale subsea fabrication works for major WA-based LNG Projects.
Duties
The NDT Coordinator role will report directly to the QC Coordinator, however functionally the role will report to the Group Quality Manager. Duties will include but not be limited to;
The successful applicant will demonstrate high attention to detail, proven organisational and time management skills combined with the ability to work autonomously within a high pressure environment.

Duties
The NDT Coordinator role will report directly to the QC Coordinator, however functionally the role will report to the Group Quality Manager. Duties will include but not be limited to;
- Report on NDT status, general welding performance and subcontractor performance
- Establish field inspection and testing procedures for fabrication works
- Schedule and supervise inspections and tests ensuring compliance with project requirements
- Liaise regularly with in-house subcontractor and client representatives
- Report all non-conformances to the Fabrication Quality Manager
- Review subcontractor NDT reports to establish welding repair requirements
- Liaise regularly with QC Inspectors regarding WPS and PQR
- Ensure welding is carried out in accordance with the approved WPS.
- Minimum five (5) years experience in a similar position
- Demonstrated experience within the fabrication of subsea piping and equipment
- NDT Level II (RT, UT) is essential
- NDT Level III (UT) and/or CSWIP 3.0 desirable
- Chevron UT Proficiency Test qualified also desireable
- Familiarity with duplex, super duplex & CRA Inconel materials
- Sound knowledge of DNV standards.
