We now have a requirement for highly experienced Electricians who possess an Australian Communications and Media Authority licence (ACMA) to work on the Ichthys Project onshore LNG facilities. This role will be based in Darwin, Northern Territory, and therefore you will be required to work the project roster of 28/7.

Kentz phase of work is to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) activities on the project. This project, at one of the world’s largest LNG facilities, involves gas from the Ichthys Field in the Browse Basin, about 200 km off Western Australia, being exported to onshore processing facilities in Darwin via a subsea pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation of High Voltage/Low Voltage cabling (HV/LV), Fibre Optic and Instrument cabling in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Consider health, safety and the environment in everything that is required to enable you to succeed in this role
  • Be focused on contributing to the team effort

Skills Required

  • Hold a Northern Territory A Grade Electrical License
  • Possess High Risk, Elevated Work Platform (EWP), working at heights as well as an OHS Construction White Card
  • Have at least 5 years solid technical site experience
  • Have good knowledge of and be able to adhere to site safety standards with a clean track record
  • Experience in cable pulling will be viewed as a distinct advantage
  • Able to take ownership and accountability
  • Preference will be given to applicants who live in the Northern Territory, who fully meet the criteria
