Process Operator

We are looking for motivated process operators to join our team at our Kwinana Pigment Plant in both Area 1 and Area 2 of our plant. Area 1 is comprised of the chlorination and oxidation units of the plant that is responsible for the first stages of the production of titanium dioxide pigment. Area 2 is comprised of the finishing, packaging and utilities of the plant and is responsible for the final stages of titanium dioxide pigment production.

We are looking for motivated process operators to join our team at our Kwinana Pigment Plant in both Area 1 and Area 2 of our plant. Area 1 is comprised of the chlorination and oxidation units of the plant that is responsible for the first stages of the production of titanium dioxide pigment. Area 2 is comprised of the finishing, packaging and utilities of the plant and is responsible for the final stages of titanium dioxide pigment production.
As part of the Production team you will report directly to the Production Supervisor and be responsible for the operation of an assigned section of the plant. You will assist in the achievement of targets for safety, environment, quality, production and cost control. You will be trained in multiple sections of the plant and high performers will have the opportunity to progress to control room operations or supervisory positions. The roster offered for this position is an attractive 12 hour day/night work pattern that will allow you to balance your lifestyle.
To be successful you must be self-motivated, have a strong desire to learn and demonstrate good mechanical aptitude and problem solving ability. Applicants that have previously worked in the chemical or processing industry will be highly regarded, as will those with control room and/or supervisory experience. However, applicants with less experience, that demonstrate the desired qualities should not be discouraged from applying.
