Our Cooljarloo mine site is located near Cataby, 170km north of the CBD. The mine offers a range of lifestyle options including the opportunity to reside in coastal towns such as Lancelin or Jurien Bay, or alternatively employees can stay in our camp based accommodation whilst rostered on.

We are seeking several Fixed plant Production Operators. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, these positions contribute to the day to day operations of our Cooljarloo mine site.

First and foremost, as a successful applicant, you will be expected at act in manner that reflects the organisation’s high regards for its safety and environmental obligations and actively participate in all supporting programmes. Also it is important that you are able to establish good working relationships with other personnel at all levels based on mutual cooperation. 

These roles form the basis of future leaders at Cooljarloo, so while previous experience will be considered, the inherent value base, behaviours and willingness to continually develop are the key attributes being targeted. As such candidates must be able to learn in a fast paced environment whilst also contributing to the team goals. 

Applicants need to take into consideration that this is a shift position working a 12 hour continuous day and night shift roster of 4 days on / 4 days off.

Preferred candidates will have:
  • A high motivation towards team work
  • A proven capacity and desire to participate in ongoing training, continuously developing skills and experiences
  • Aptitude in using computers and/or process control equipment
  • Demonstrable high level problem solving skills
  • The ability to complete some manual labour tasks
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • High level attention to detail
