Tronox is the world’s largest fully integrated producer of titanium ore and titanium dioxide. The Tronox Kwinana Pigment Plant is a progressive site which places a strong emphasis on organisational discipline to achieve operational excellence. The main purpose of the Kwinana pigment plant is to safely produce quality tonnes of titanium dioxide pigment on time and within budget.

 Under the direction of the Finance Group Leader, this role will be responsible for the provision of accounting services for operating and capital expenditure to effectively support Tronox Management Kwinana. This is a maternity leave cover - 12 month maximum term contract based at our Kwinana Pigment Plant office.

Key duties and responsibilities include:
  • Complete month end process for physicals, operating expenditure and balance sheet including completion of journals, stock model, statistics and cost reviews
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly site performance reports
  • Assist in the updating of operating cost forecasts
  • Complete general ledger reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts ensuring variances are cleared on a timely basis
  • Manage the capital expenditure of maintenance of the AFE process, capital forecasting and monthly review meetings
  • Responsible for the updating of SOX internal control documentation and audit facilitation
  • Maintaining and building working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Key attributes include:
  • Accounting Degree or related discipline is required
  • CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification
  • Experienced in financial accounting, internal auditing processes and tax
  • Experienced in MS Office suite with Advanced Excel skills
A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate including the option to work a 9 day fortnight.
